6.1.1. Features of a design
On Chery Amulet cars establish dry one-disk coupling with the central diafragmenny spring.

Press a disk 1 (fig. 6.1)
is mounted in the steel cast casing 3 attached by six bolts to a cranked shaft of the engine.
|Fig. 6.2. A conducted disk of coupling with a flywheel: 1–a conducted disk; 2–flywheel
The conducted disk 1 (fig. 6.2)
is established on shlitsa of primary shaft of a transmission and clamped by a diafragmenny spring 2 (see fig. 6.1
) between a flywheel 2 (see fig. 6.2
), attached by nine bolts to a casing 3 (see fig. 6.1
) couplings, and a press disk 1.

of switching off of coupling influences a free shoulder of the lever 3 a cable of 1 drive...
... which second end is fixed on the lever of a pedal of coupling. The lever 3 turns the fork established in a transmission which, in turn, via the bearing of switching off of coupling moves...
... a rod of switching off of coupling (it is shown on a photo by an arrow), passing in a hollow primary shaft of a transmission.
The rod of switching off of coupling influences on a podpyatnik (it is shown on a photo by an arrow at removed for descriptive reasons a flywheel and a conducted disk of coupling), fixed by a fixing spring on petals of a press diafragmenny spring.
For compensation of wear of overlays of a conducted disk of coupling and increase in length of a cable of a drive owing to its pulling in operation adjustment of length of a cover of a cable by the adjusting plug 2 (see fig. 6.3
), established on the bottom end of a cable (is provided see. «Adjustment of a drive of switching off of coupling»).
In order that coupling served long and smoothly, do not hold constantly a foot on a coupling pedal. This addiction often get during training to driving in driving schools for fear not to manage to switch off coupling during a car stop. Besides fast fatigue of the foot being all the time over a pedal, coupling appears though a little, but is squeezed out, and the conducted disk thus revolves and wears out. For the same reason we do not recommend to keep long coupling in the switched-off condition (for example, in jams). If it is not necessary to get under way at once from a place, it is better to include the neutral provision of a transmission and to release a pedal.
It is easily possible to define pro-slipping of coupling by a tachometer. If during movement by sharp pressing an accelerator pedal turns sharply grow, and then fall a little and the car starts to be dispersed, coupling demands repair.
