3.9.1. Check of system of greasing1. Open a cowl. Do not hurry to check at once oil level in the engine — let's to it flow down in an oil case, it will take two-three minutes. During this time attentively examine the engine — whether is not present on it fresh потеков some oil.
2. Glance under a forward part of the car — whether the oil case of the engine is punched, whether there is no there a leak.
Good advice
If the leak of oil from the punched oil case is found, try to close up temporarily it on a place. For this purpose it is possible to use an inner tube, a piece of rubber, a rag, a wooden stopper, etc. The good result can give application of modern repair materials of type «cold welding», available on sale in autoshops.

3. Pay attention to the oil filter. Oil can leak from under rubber laying of the filter if it is damaged or the filter is poorly tightened. Sometimes happens rather a little to tighten it clockwise.
Prevention
About hot details of the engine it is possible to burn, therefore put on gloves and clothes with long sleeves.

4. Take out oil щуп, wipe it a pure rag and insert into place. Once again get щуп and check oil level. It should be between the top and bottom labels (cuts on the brink щупа).
5. If level of oil is lower than the bottom label, add oil to norm.
Good advice
In the absence of a funnel for a dolivka of oil it is possible to use a funnel made of a plastic bottle.

6. Start up the engine. If at normal level the lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil went out, it is possible to continue movement. If the lamp does not die away, check serviceability of the sensor of pressure of oil. The sensor is established below in a forward part of the block of cylinders near a coupling case. Turn out the regular sensor of pressure of oil (see. «Replacement of the sensor of an alarm lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil») also establish on its place a mechanical manometer. If pressure at normal rate of rotation of idling more than 0,1 MPas (1,0 kgfs/cm2) also increases with growth of frequency of rotation, the sensor or its electric chain is faulty.
Good advice
If you have no manometer, it is necessary to check only reliability of contact in a block with wires of the sensor or to replace the sensor with the obviously serviceable.

If after elimination of all visible reasons pressure of oil in the engine insufficiently (the lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil burns), carry out diagnostics and engine repair (see section 5 "Engine").
Prevention
Do not try to reach to garage — the engine will fail. Tow off for repair the car with the idle engine.
