5.6. Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in the provision VMT of a step of compression

The piston of the 1st cylinder establish in situation VMT (the top dead point) compression step in order that at the work, connected with removal of a belt of a drive of a camshaft, installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye was not broken. At violation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye the engine will normally not work.

Expose VMT on a label on a camshaft pulley (at installation on labels on a pulley of a cranked shaft in this situation there can be a piston either the 1st, or the 4th cylinder). After that be surely convinced of coincidence of labels on a gear pulley of a cranked shaft. If labels do not coincide, means, installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye (the piston of the 1st cylinder is not established in VMT) is broken. In this case it is necessary to remove a belt of a drive of a camshaft and to turn a cranked shaft before combination of labels.

Labels of VMT are put on a gear pulley of a camshaft and on a head of the block of cylinders.

Also labels are put on a gear pulley of a cranked shaft and on a cover of the oil pump. These labels are visible only at the removed pulley of a drive of additional units.

1. Remove belts of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and the conditioner compressor») and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering»).

2. Fix a cranked shaft from a provorachivaniye. For this purpose establish the gear shifting lever in the provision of the included transfer and ask the assistant to press a brake pedal.

3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft...	4.... also remove a pulley.

5. Remove covers of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and its tension roller»).

6. Wrap a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft and turn for it a cranked shaft before coincidence of labels on zubaty pulleys.

7. If labels do not coincide, adjust the provision of a belt on pulleys (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and its tension roller»).

8. Establish all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.
