6.2.3. Replacement of epiploons of a transmission

It be required to you: a stripper of lock rings (or kruglogubets), a screw-driver with a flat edge, a hammer, an opravka.

1. For replacement of an epiploon of a semi-axis merge oil from a transmission (see. «Check of level and oil replacement in a transmission»).

2. Remove a wheel drive from a replaced epiploon (see. «Removal and installation of drives of forward wheels»).	3. Hook a cap in a semi-axis a screw-driver...

4.... also take it from a semi-axis nest.	5. Dissolve the ends of a lock ring...

6.... also remove from a shaft of a semi-axial gear wheel a ring...	7.... and remote washer.

8. Press a semi-axis from a shaft of a semi-axial gear wheel.

Prevention The semi-axis is established on shlitsa of a shaft of a semi-axial gear wheel with a considerable tightness. At impossibility of its spressovka make-shifts use a universal stripper, differently it is possible to damage differential bearings.

9. Take an epiploon a screw-driver.	10. Grease a working edge of an epiploon with transmission greasing and press it an opravka of suitable diameter a working edge in a box.

11. An epiploon of primary shaft replace on the removed transmission. Take an epiploon a screw-driver.

12. Grease a working edge of an epiploon with transmission greasing and press it an opravka of suitable diameter a working edge in a box.

13. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal.

Note For replacement of an epiploon of a rod of the mechanism of gear shifting it is necessary to remove and disassemble a gear shifting box (see. «Repair of the mechanism of gear shifting»).
