11.18.1. Features of the device

On the Chery Amulet car management of system of heating and ventilation of salon is carried out independently from air central air at performance of function of heating and ventilation of salon, removal of hoarfrost and the condensed moisture from a windscreen, and also обдува glasses of doors. At the same time basic elements of a heater work and at turning on of the conditioner. Knots of a heater and the heat exchanger of the evaporator of the conditioner are in one block.
Main knots of a heater:
– the heater heat exchanger (radiator) intended for heating of air arriving in salon by heat of liquid cooling the engine;
– the fan with an electric drive (supercharger) providing adjustable supply of external air to zaslonka of a heater and the conditioner;
– a zaslonka of a regulator of the air temperature arriving from a heater in salon; the amount of the air passing through the heat exchanger of a heater, and the external air passing bypassing the heat exchanger depends on change of its situation;
– zaslonka of distribution of the air arriving from a heater on air lines in salon or for обдува of a windscreen.

On fig. 11.2 the control panel by heating and air conditioning in the car salon, established on the dashboard console is shown. Appointment and work of governing bodies as the conditioner are described in section 1 «The car device», see. «Heating (conditioning) and salon ventilation».
The switch of 1 modes of the fan of the airsupercharger works irrespective of the provision of a regulator of 3 distributions of air and a regulator of 2 temperatures and operates speed of the fan, changing tension in an electric motor power-supply circuit.
The regulator of 3 distributions of streams of air, regulator of 2 temperatures and the switch 4 modes of a retsirkulyatsiya operate heater zaslonka by means of a hummock drive and the electric drive.
Central air of air operate means of the governing bodies located on the panel, the general with a heater (see fig. 11.2).
The following elements enter into central air of air.
The compressor with a belt drive from a pulley of a cranked shaft of the engine. The frictional electromagnetic coupling disconnecting a shaft of the compressor from a pulley or connecting them at operation of the conditioner on a signal of the electronic control unit by the engine is built in a pulley of the compressor. At work the compressor compresses to a high pressure of pair of the coolant, arriving to it from the evaporator heat exchanger. The temperature паров on an exit of the compressor is much higher than a coolant, than on an entrance.
The Reduktsionny valve is built in the compressor and carries out protective function, working at increase in pressure of more admissible value on a compressor exit. Failure of the valve of a high pressure, the electric fan can be the reason of operation of the reduktsionny valve, etc.
The heat exchanger (radiator) of the condenser is located ahead of a radiator of system of cooling of the engine and has a coil with the developed orebreniye for fast cooling and condensation compressed by the compressor to a high pressure паров a coolant.
The throttle branch pipe (reducer) with mesh filters on an entrance and an exit is established in the pipeline bringing a liquid coolant to the heat exchanger of the evaporator. The throttle opening in a branch pipe limits an expense of a liquid coolant and reduces pressure in the evaporator. After an engine stop the liquid coolant continues some time to flow through a throttle branch pipe from an elevated pressure zone in a zone of low pressure. Liquid course through a throttle opening is accompanied by a characteristic hissing sound which is listened during 30–60 with the ambassador of a stop of the engine and does not testify to malfunction.
Heat exchanger (radiator) of the evaporator. The liquid coolant of the heat exchanger of the condenser through a throttle branch pipe arrives in the heat exchanger of the evaporator located in the block of a heater. In the heat exchanger liquid passes to a gaseous state, absorbing heat. The moisture containing in air, arriving to the heat exchanger, is condensed on it, flows down from the evaporator and is removed from the heater block. From the evaporator heat exchanger a gaseous coolant with impurity of a small amount of liquid fraction of a coolant and the thaw of refrigerating oil arrives in a receiver which is connected to the target pipeline of the evaporator.
Receiver dehumidifier. In the lower part of the case of a receiver there is a capacity with an absorber паров waters from паров a coolant which, being released from moisture through a special opening in an intaking tube, mix up with refrigerating oil. In the top part of the case of a receiver are located the union for connection of pipelines. The receiver is not maintainable, to replace it it is necessary only assembled.
Besides the listed elements, the system includes valves of high and low pressure, and also pressure sensors.

Preventions
All works on repair of central air should be carried out only at completely discharged system.
As pairs of coolant are toxic, repair system with use of the special equipment which is available in specialized services on service of central airs.

In connection with specific features of repair of central air (see preventions above) in this subsection works on removal and control unit installation by heating and conditioning system as removal of other elements of knot of heating and conditioning (including a heater radiator) needs complete removal of knot from the car with central air depressurization are described only.
