7.1.7. Removal and installation of a cross-piece of a forward suspension bracket

Note Work is more convenient for carrying out on the lift.

It be required to you: keys (or face heads) «on 10», «on 13», «on 19», a screw-driver with a flat edge, capacity for collecting working liquid of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

1. Establish a steering wheel in the situation corresponding to rectilinear movement of the car.

2. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a tube to the steering mechanism.	3. Disconnect a tube from the mechanism and merge from it working liquid of the hydraulic booster or muffle a stopper.

Note Connection of a tube with the steering mechanism is condensed with a rubber ring. Replace rings new at each separation of connection.

4. Similarly disconnect from the steering mechanism the second tube.	5. Raise a protective cover of a steering shaft...

6.... also turn out a bolt of klemmovy connection of a steering shaft with shaft of the steering mechanism.	7. Vypressuyte from levers of rotary fists fingers of hinges of external tips of steering drafts (see. «Replacement of an external tip of steering draft»).

8. Turn out on three bolts of fastening of spherical support to levers of a forward suspension bracket.	9. Turn out three bolts of fastening of an arm on the engine to the right back support of a suspension bracket of the power unit...

10.... and one bolt of fastening of an arm on a transmission to the left back support.	11. Remove both pillows of a suspension bracket of a reception pipe to a stretcher (see. «Replacement of pillows of a suspension bracket of system of production of the fulfilled gases»).

12. Establish under the power unit and under a cross-piece of a forward suspension bracket of a support (for example, hydraulic racks or jacks).

13. From both parties of a cross-piece turn out on two bolts of its fastening to body longerons...

Note Access to two back bolts of fastening of a cross-piece is possible through openings in levers of a forward suspension bracket.

14.... lower a hydraulic rack (or a jack) under a cross-piece and remove a cross-piece assembled with the steering mechanism, the stabilizer of cross-section stability and levers of a forward suspension bracket. If necessary remove a stabilizer bar (see. «Replacement of details of the stabilizer of cross-section stability»), the steering mechanism (see. «Replacement of the steering mechanism») and the lever (see. «Replacement of the lever of a forward suspension bracket»).

15. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal, bolts tighten the moment specified in the appendix 1.

16. Pump over system of the hydraulic booster of a steering (see. «Pumping of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering»).

17. Check and if necessary adjust corners of installation of wheels in a workshop having the special equipment.
