11.14.3. Removal and installation of a safety cushion of the forward passenger

It be required to you: keys of TORX T40 and Т30.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

Preventions
Attempt of removal of the module of a safety cushion without shutdown of the storage battery can lead to pillow operation.
To start the following operations on removal of a safety cushion it is possible only after the full category of the condenser of the activator. For the category of the condenser it is necessary to wait for not less than 15 mines after a wire detachment from the minus plug of the storage battery.
Dismantling of the module of a safety cushion is forbidden.
Falling of the module of a safety cushion and hit on it of water, greasing or oil is not allowed.
Impact on the module of a safety cushion of temperature above 95 °C is not allowed.

4.... also separate a block of a plait of wires of the module of a safety cushion.
5. From the interior of the dashboard turn out two screws of fastening of the module of a safety cushion to a guard of a front and four screws of fastening to the dashboard.
6. Remove the module of a safety cushion of the forward passenger.
7. Establish the safety cushion module as it should be, the return to removal.
