10.3.1. Arrangement of safety locks and relayThe majority of power-supply circuits of electric equipment of the car is protected by fuses. Powerful consumers of a current are connected via the relay. Safety locks and the relay are established in assembly blocks which are in car salon under the dashboard on the left side, in podkapotny space – near the storage battery and on engine mudguards.

The majority of safety locks is established in the assembly block of safety locks and the relay in the salon (fig. 10.1) located under the dashboard on the right side. Purpose of safety locks and the relay is given in tab. 10.1.
