5.11.1. Engine dismantling

It be required to you: keys «on 10», «on 13», «on 17», a face head «on 13», the tools necessary for removal of a head of the block of cylinders, screw-drivers, a hammer, a stripper of the oil filter, the adaptation for a vypressovka of a piston finger or a suitable opravka, пассатижи.

Good advice If there is a possibility, work at the special rotary stand providing access to the engine from all directions as the engine is very heavy for fixing from moving at an otvorachivaniye of details of the fastening tightened by the big moment.

1. Remove the engine from the car (see. «Removal and engine installation»).

2. Remove a starter (see. «Removal and starter installation»).

3. Remove the generator (see. «Removal and generator installation»).

4. Disconnect from the engine a transmission, having turned out bolts of its fastening to the engine (see. «Removal and transmission installation»).

5. Remove a flywheel with coupling (see. «Removal and coupling installation»).

6. Remove a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and its tension roller») and its back cover (see. «Removal and installation of the oil pump»).

7. Remove a head of the block of cylinders (see. «Replacement of laying of a head of the block of cylinders»).

8. Remove an oil case (see. «Replacement of consolidation of an oil case»).

9. Remove the holder of a back epiploon of a cranked shaft assembled with an epiploon (see. «Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft»).	10. Remove the oil pump (see. «Removal and installation of the oil pump»).

11. Remove the water pump (see. «Replacement of the water pump»).

12. Remove the oil filter (see. «Oil replacement in the engine and the oil filter»).

Good advice When dismantling the krivoshipno-shatunny mechanism and piston group mark pistons, rods, loose leaves of radical and shatunny bearings that at assembly to establish them on former places if they are efficient.

13. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a cover of a rod of any cylinder, shift a rod cover from a seat in easy blows of a hammer through a wooden pro-rate...	14.... also uncover with the loose leaf.

Prevention Conditional marking is put on a cover and a rod. At assembly of the engine of figure should be located on the one hand. However the rod and a cover are not marked by numbers of cylinders. Surely mark them in any available way (for example, a kerneniye) that at assembly to establish on former places as covers of rods are not interchangeable (a rod it is processed together with a cover).

15. Press wooden whetstone (the hammer handle) a rod and take out the piston with a rod from the cylinder towards the top plane of the block of cylinders.

16. Similarly remove pistons and rods of other cylinders, turning a cranked shaft for access to bolts of covers of rods.

Good advice Turn a cranked shaft a key for лыску on the forward end.

17. Turn out two bolts of fastening of any cover of the radical bearing...	18.... also uncover with the bottom loose leaf.

Prevention Covers of radical bearings are intended only for one concrete block of cylinders (covers process together with the block). Among themselves covers are not interchangeable. On covers numbers corresponding to an order of their installation are put, considering from a forward part. The shooters cast on covers at installation should be directed to the forward party of the engine.

19. Turn out bolts, remove other covers of radical bearings and take a cranked shaft.

20. Remove persistent half rings of a cranked shaft on an average support of the radical bearing.

21. Remove loose leaves from all rods...	22.... and from their covers.

23. Similarly remove loose leaves from covers of radical bearings and from all beds in the block of cylinders.

24. Unclench the top kompressionny ring and remove it.	25. Similarly remove the second (bottom) kompressionny ring.

26. Unclench and remove the top ring...	27.... dilator...

28.... and bottom ring of a compound maslosjemny ring.	29. Vypressuyte a finger from lugs of the piston and the top head of a rod.

Note Do not heat up a rod before a finger vypressovka. Not to damage the piston, use at a finger vypressovka wooden laying, as is shown in the photo.
